Learn how to confidently explain your digital products in a clear, simple way that focuses on what matters most to your clients.

Step 1 – Watch the Training

  • Video 1: 20-Second Drill – Scenario

  • Video 2: 20-Second Drill – Process

Take notes as you watch, especially on the rules: keep it short, simple, and focus on WIIFT (What’s in it for them).

Step 2 – Complete Your Drill

Choose 1–3 simple tasks to put your learning into action:

  • Write Your Own Drill (100 words max):
Draft a 20-second explanation of why a client should consider your station’s digital products.

    • Use the inverted pyramid (Who, What, Where, When, Why, How).

    • Focus on client outcomes (traffic, sales, ROI).

  • Practice & Record:
Say your drill out loud until it feels natural. Time yourself — keep it under 20 seconds.

  • Mini-Close:
Add a short closing statement that shows how digital ties into their goals (e.g., “This helps you reach unique visitors ready to act, which means more sales for your business”).

Step 3 – Share & Reflect

  • Post your finished 20-second drill in the discussion thread.

  • Reflect on the process:

    • Did you stay under 20 seconds?

    • Was your language simple and client-focused?

    • How confident did you feel compared to before?
